The Mohawk people (who identify as Kanien'kehá:ka) are the most easterly tribe of the Iroquois Confederacy, and are also known as the “People of the Flint Place.” They are an Iroquoian-speaking indigenous people of North America. They were historically based in the Mohawk Valley in present-day upstate New York west of Albany; their territory ranged to the St. Lawrence River and present-day southern Quebec and eastern Ontario, greater New Jersey, and southward into present-day Pennsylvania, eastward to the Green Mountains of Vermont, and westward to the border with the Oneida Nation's traditional homeland territory. As one of the five original members of the Iroquois League, or Haudenosaunee, the Mohawk were known as the Keepers of the Eastern Door. For hundreds of years, they guarded the Iroquois Confederation against invasion from that direction by tribes from the New England and lower New York areas. Their current major settlements include areas around Lake Ontario and the St Lawrence River in Canada and New York.
Nation (from Latin: natio, "people, tribe, kin, genus, class, flock") is a social concept with no uncontroversial definition, but that is most commonly used to designate larger groups or collectives of people with common characteristics attributed to them—including language, traditions, customs (mores), habits (habitus), and ethnicity. A nation, by comparison, is more impersonal, abstract, and overtly political than an ethnic group. It is a cultural-political community that has become conscious of its autonomy, unity, and particular interests.
According to Joseph Stalin: "a nation is not a racial or tribal, but a historically constituted community of people;" "a nation is not a casual or ephemeral conglomeration, but a stable community of people"; "a nation is formed only as a result of lengthy and systematic intercourse, as a result of people living together generation after generation"; and, in its entirety: "a nation is a historically constituted, stable community of people, formed on the basis of a common language, territory, economic life, and psychological make-up manifested in a common culture."

In the United States, Native Americans are considered to be people whose pre-Columbian ancestors were indigenous to the lands within the nation's modern boundaries. These peoples were composed of numerous distinct tribes, bands, and ethnic groups, and many of these groups survive intact today as sovereign nations. The terms Native Americans use to refer to themselves vary regionally and generationally, with many older Native Americans self-identifying as "Indians" or "American Indians", while younger Native Americans often identify as "Indigenous". Which terms should be used to refer to Native Americans has at times been controversial. The term "Native American" has been adopted by major newspapers and some academic groups, but has not traditionally included Native Hawaiians or certain Alaskan Natives, such as Aleut, Yup'ik, or Inuit peoples. Indigenous American peoples from Canada are known as First Nations.
Since the end of the 15th century, the migration of Europeans to the Americas has led to centuries of exchange and adjustment between Old and New World societies. Most Native American groups had historically lived as hunter-gatherer societies and preserved their histories by oral traditions and artwork, which has resulted in the first written sources on the conflict being authored by Europeans.
Trousers (pants in North America) are an item of clothing worn from the waist to the ankles, covering both legs separately (rather than with cloth extending across both legs as in robes, skirts, and dresses).
In the UK the word "pants" generally means underwear and not trousers.Shorts are similar to trousers, but with legs that come down only to around the area of the knee, higher or lower depending on the style of the garment. To distinguish them from shorts, trousers may be called "long trousers" in certain contexts such as school uniform, where tailored shorts may be called "short trousers", especially in the UK.
In most of the Western world, trousers have been worn since ancient times and throughout the Medieval period, becoming the most common form of lower-body clothing for adult males in the modern world, although shorts are also widely worn, and kilts and other garments may be worn in various regions and cultures. Breeches were worn instead of trousers in early modern Europe by some men in higher classes of society. Since the mid-20th century, trousers have increasingly been worn by women as well. Jeans, made of denim, are a form of trousers for casual wear, now widely worn all over the world by both sexes. Shorts are often preferred in hot weather or for some sports and also often by children and teenagers. Trousers are worn on the hips or waist and may be held up by their own fastenings, a belt or suspenders (braces). Leggings are form-fitting trousers, of a clingy material, often knitted cotton and spandex (elastane).

Jacques Parizeau, Quebec Premier (9/ 26/94 -- 1/26/96), commenting on the indigenous Iroquoian people of the Mohawk Nation living in Quebec, said: ″The difficult group is the Mohawks and they can be the source of a great deal of trouble. [.....] If we had won the referendum, one of the first questions would have been what do you do with these people. [.....] So I jiggled with the idea that we could keep their territory and themselves in Canada [.....] That would have implied that Canada would have to keep order (laughs) on the reserves and not us.″

The people of the Six Nations, also known by the French term, Iroquois Confederacy, call themselves the Haudenosaunee (ho dee noe sho nee) meaning People of the Long House. Located in the northeastern region of North America, originally the Six Nations was five and included the Mohawks, Oneidas, Onondagas, Cayugas, and Senecas. The sixth nation, the Tuscaroras, migrated into Iroquois country in the early eighteenth century. Together these peoples comprise the oldest living participatory democracy on earth. Their story, and governance truly based on the consent of the governed, contains a great deal of life-promoting intelligence for those of us not familiar with this area of American history. The original United States representative democracy, fashioned by such central authors as Benjamin...

Native American Flute Music: Meditation Music for Shamanic Astral Projection, Healing Music Shamanism is a system for psychic, emotional, and spiritual healing and for exploration, discovery, and knowledge gathering about non-material worlds and states of mind. The Mohawk Nation on the Akwesasne Reservation spent years trying to figure out what was poisoning their cattle and land. The poisonous agent was fluoride from the aluminum manufactureres. The aluminum manufacturers and the phosphate fertilizer industry (Cargill/Mosaic/Pencco) all have toxic fluoride waste to dispose of. Naturally occurring fluoride, calcium fluoride exists in the Trinity Aquifer. This water source ws to be used for a TPC Golf Course in sunny San Antonio. But, well connected developers in San Antonio got LOW Fluoride Edwards Aquifer water for their Golf Course because of Fluoride Salts. All it took was a little help from SAWS. Canada's Dark Secret - Featured Documentary In 1996, the last residential school in Canada was closed down, bringing to light horrifying stories about the methods used to sever indigenous children from the influence of their families and to assimilate them into the dominant "Canadian" culture. Over more than a century, tens of thousands of families were torn apart as children were kidnapped or forcibly removed from their homes Residential schools were part of an extensive education system set up by the Canadian government and administered by churches with the objective of indoctrinating Aboriginal children into the Euro-Canadian and Christian way of life. Bud Whiteye, a survivor of the Mohawk Institute Residential School, was "picked up" and taken to the school along with four other c...

*AFRICAN'S IN PRE-COLUMBIAN AMERICA:* A great deal of the Mounds located in North America contained ancient Libyan (ancient Libyan's were Dark-skin African's) and Nubian scripts, artifacts, alphabets, and inscriptions. Some which can be traced back to the "Mandingo Tribe" in Africa. In the famous Ohio Seip Mound, a Nubian sculptured head was found, it dated back to 1,000 B.C., but far older artifacts were found in other Burial Mounds. There's also signs of the Muslim presence in pre-Columbian America Burial Mounds. Then a careful study of Native American Indian tribal names has revealed that many of the names are derived from Arab and Islamic roots and/or origins, such as the; Anasazi, Apache, Arawak, Algonquin, Arikana, Chavin, Cherokee, Cree, Hohokam, Hupa, Hopi, Iroquois, Makkah, Ma...
